SILLON rattan chair: technical data

Another design by Guillaume Delvigne for Orchid Edition and Kok Maison. The SILLON rattan dining chair was named from the visual rhythm of a Zen garden raked in concentric and parallel curves ("Sillon" =  furrow in french). Guillaume Delvigne highlights here one of the typical attributes of rattan furniture: the use of thin poles of cane to give shape to the seat and to the backrest. Placed at a certain distance from each other, rounded  and still slightly flexible, they allow ito seat confortably on the chair without cushion. The SILLON rattan chair is also available with a seat pad in a selection of fabrics. Compact, light, stackable, and intemporal, the SILLON dining chair is emblematic of the rattan design as Orchid Edition conceives it.
