The pedestal table is at the height of a terrace table, i.e. 70 cm, a height that still allows you to sit and eat, although it is 5 cm lower than a real dining table, but it will make an excellent pedestal table for breakfast, tea or coffee. The top of the table is woven from willow splinters on a particle board which ensures stability and rigidity of the surface, and can be fitted with an optional glass top.

Rattan is a tropical plant (85% comes from Indonesia) related to the palm family which produces a "cane" that is easy to bend (with steam). Rattan allows for tighter curves and finer weaves than willow, but being less rigid, it requires a heavier frame.
Willow grows easily throughout Europe. It does not require any plant protection products or fertilisers. The harvest is completely regenerated each year, so it is a very easily renewable resource. Peeled hot ("buff" willow with natural copper tones) or cold ("white" willow), it is most often presented untreated, the willow fibre leaving its smooth and satiny surface to appear "au naturel".

A wicker table or pedestal table can be used in a conservatory, a winter garden, or outdoors in good weather and occasionally, but cannot be considered as garden furniture. They are not made to withstand the elements, humidity, frost, or too long exposure to the sun. The pedestal table is also hand woven. Dimensional differences of 1 to 2 cm may occur, no two are exactly alike.
Maintenance: dust with a damp cloth, do not use commercial cleaning products. In case of heavy soiling, clean with a sponge and soap.
