Inspired by the lines of rattan from the 70s and 80s, the Riviera rattan table armchair takes up its characteristic graphic codes: rattan with a generous diameter, simple shapes, compact dimensions, top-of-the-range finishes: removable cushions, linen/cotton fabric, double caning on the backrests, brass cabochons...

The Riviera rattan table chair belies rattan's reputation as a "cheap" material. The generous diameter of the rattan canes used for Riviera costs more per m3 than teak or oak. In order to restore this precious material to its rightful place, and to reveal to the general public that it is much more than an exotic and cheap product, KOK has treated it here with the same quality and comfort requirements as a top-of-the-range furniture chair. Particularly noteworthy is the exclusive finish of the backrest in fine double cane, which represents hours of painstaking work.

Rattan table armchair Riviera: technical data


Overall dimensions: height 90 x width 57 x depth 59 cm, seat at 46 cm (excluding cushion). Height of armrests (from floor to top of armrest) 69 cm, weight 6 kg with cushion.
Structure in natural rattan, semi-decorated, stained, cellulose varnished.
Double cane in rattan splinters on the backrest.
Legs with brass end caps and nylon glides.
Delivered assembled. Frame made in Indonesia.

High resilience polyurethane foam cushions, density 30kg/m3. Fabric 49% cotton - 51% linen, beige colour, maintenance: dry cleaning. Made in Indonesia.
