A little bit of history

At the turn of the last century, rattan was in its golden age, as it was so easy to use that it lent itself to the scrolls, arabesques and intertwined shapes that were the hallmark of the Art Nouveau style. The charm of the afternoons under an arbour, walks in the botanical garden and cafés on the main boulevards is now part of our French way of life. KOK MAISON, with its Bagatelle collection, is now re-releasing the furniture that goes with it. Each model in this collection has its own design and its own lines, as if it had been individually aged, but the choice of a common finish ensures is coordinated with the others. A quick nod to the techniques of the time: the finishing nailing is entirely in brass.

Overall dimensions: height 80 x width 120 x depth 61, seat height 43 cm, seat width 102 cm, seat depth 46 cm. Weight 9 kg. Natural dark unpeeled rattan frame, patinated rattan weaving and HDPE resin (red sections), solid wood seat frame with webbing. Satin water-based varnish. Made in Indonesia.
