A conservatory to capture the essence of KOK Maison

The Maison & Objet show in January 2025 was supposed to be an opportunity for KOK Maison to unveil two essential aspects of the brand: our passion for timeless conservatories, those overflowing with plants, where you can finally take the time to breathe, and our desire to work ‘naturally’ both indoors and out.

A late container meant we had to postpone the presentation of the second part (the complete overhaul of our outdoor range will have to wait a while...), so we had plenty of room to present the essence of KOK Maison in the garden haven of our dreams.

Exotic winter garden, softly tinted conservatory or luminous, luxuriant veranda, our display offered visitors a green interlude in which to breathe a sigh of relief, in the midst of the effervescent search for new trends that is Maison et Objet.

Designed by Stella Cadente, and enhanced by the addition of her dreamlike world of exotic panoramas and hand-embroidered cushions, this new stand in soft green tones made way for the meticulous weaving and soft, organic lines of KOK furniture.

An obvious connection: KOK Maison & Stella Cadente

For four generations, KOK MAISON has been perpetuating the tradition of rattan furniture, offering re-editions and adaptations of emblematic items. These timeless pieces, imbued with a certain nostalgia, create a warm atmosphere and invite you to slow down. By teaming up with Stella Cadente, KOK MAISON is opening a new chapter in its history, one that is more authentic and closer to its aspirations.

‘We discovered Stella's work through several projects in which rattan furniture played an important role. The way in which she showcases natural materials and handmade work appealed to us straight away.

Our two personalities immediately complemented each other! Imagination, colour and a mix of materials are the magic of Stella's combinations to enhance everyday life and take us on a journey. Our know-how and the richness of our collections, which offer infinite combinations, did the rest.’

Refocus, refine, sublimate...

This year's Maison & Objet also marks a turning point for KOK Maison. More than ever, we are choosing to refocus our collections on the essentials: timeless lines, natural materials and pieces designed to last. Far removed from fashion trends, we are pursuing our commitment to furniture that combines elegance with authenticity. It's a promise we'll continue to keep, as seasons and inspirations change.

So the next step will be this exciting new outdoor collection, which we'll be taking the time to unveil little by little here, rather than in a hurry at a trade show.
