Nelson Alves was born in Boulogne Billancourt in 1983. After a number of experiences in interior architecture in Bangkok and Ko Phi Phi, he completed a master's degree in design at Strate Collège.
Maxence Boisseau, born in Laval in 1982, studied product design at the Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique, after a degree in industrial science and technology.
It was at Design Utility, an agency specialising in operator workstation ergonomics, that they began their collaboration, working together on a number of cutting-edge projects for Véolia and Thales Communications.
Passionate about interior design, they founded Studio at-once in 2008, which enables them to present their vision of the living space.
Always keen to build bridges between industrial processes and the art of living, in 2010 they were awarded the Les Découvertes M&O prize for the Glorify armchair, which also won the Observeur du Design award that same year. Numerous collaborations have followed, including with Dammann Frères, KOK Maison and Airborne. The Miss Trèfle tables designed for the latter have now joined the Mobilier National collection.
