For the renovation of Bordeaux's Hotel Indigo in 2023, architect and designer Stella Cadente wanted to highlight the elegance of the Chartrons district, where the hotel is located, with the relaxed, festive touch of the finest houses on the Arcachon Basin: colors, natural materials, craftsmanship... and a fine representation of KOK Maison in all its diversity.
Our Nantucket woven rattan sofas take pride of place in the hotel's premium rooms, dressed in beautiful Thévenon fabric. Our Eugénie tables can also be found in some rooms, providing a light, multi-functional decorative element.
In the shared areas, the warm, relaxed atmosphere is accentuated by the combination of natural materials from different countries, such as rattan from Asia and willow from Europe: Diabolo tables, willow side tables, willow display stands or plant stand. Our Biarritz outdoor furniture in resin weave also blends with these materials: playing with the codes of typical wicker weave, a Biarritz garden armchair has its place around these natural materials.
In our view, the most beautiful project is the dining room, where Stella Cadente has succeeded in bringing together several collections: the sensuality of the Orchid Edition finish with the Sillon chairs and Contour armchairs meets the more artisanal look of the brown willow seats and tables. The Riviera table armchairs, with their fine canework and brass finishes, complete the room, creating a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. A blend of traditional and contemporary that sublimates the architecture of the place (and the magnificent view over Bordeaux), and gives the hotel a strong identity.
